Our New Keynote Speaker
We are delighted to confirm a second keynote speaker for Agatha Christie: A Reappraisal. The well-known theatrical producer and Agatha Christie heavyweight Julius Green has agreed to address delegates in what promises to be an illuminating talk.
Julius read history at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. He was a Fellow Commoner of the College from 2013-14 and is currently a Fellow of the Birkbeck Centre for Contemporary Theatre, University of London. In his day job as a theatre producer he presented the 2001 Agatha Christie Theatre Festival (a twelve week season of Christie's complete stage works as then known) and in 2006 he founded the Agatha Christie Theatre Company for Bill Kenwright Ltd. In 2012 he was invited to write the introduction to HarperCollins' sixtieth anniversary edition of The Mousetrap and Other Plays, and in 2015 HarperCollins published his book Curtain Up - Agatha Christie; A Life in Theatre, which established him as the leading authority on Christie's work as a playwright. He is also the author of How To Produce A West End Show (Oberon Books, 2012) and is a regular columnist for The Stage newspaper. He lives in Cambridge.
